Our Head of Hair and Make Up Ruth Marcella made her way to the first-ever Braiders Brunch UK hosted by The @BraidGang. The event, held on a memorable Saturday on 26th July at Motel Studios, brought together over 300 braiders, natural hair stylists, and textured hair professionals for a day filled with education, empowerment, and celebration of the art of braiding.

It was really well attended and look forward to next year!

The Avant-Garde Hair Showcase was a true standout moment at the event, showcasing sculptural braiding artistry that exemplified the limitless creativity of textured hair professionals. The exquisite craftsmanship by Nina Maudsley & Leesha Wyeth and Anne Cecille underscored the braiding community's leading role in hair artistry.

In addition to the enriching educational agenda, guests indulged in gourmet food, bespoke cocktails, and live DJ music, creating a warm and supportive atmosphere to foster genuine connections.

Attendees departed with carefully curated goodie bags brimming with products from renowned brands like Tangle Teezer, Cantu, Ebin Europe, and Creme of Nature. The event's proceeds were generously donated to Our Pain 2 Power, a youth charity dedicated to empowering vulnerable young individuals through mentorship programs - a true reflection of Braids Gang's dedication to community support.
