preparing For Your Wedding Day tips
Hello there Bride-to-be! We understand the worries you must have right now when it comes to preparing for your big magical day. So to help you out, we prepared some golden tips for you and your wedding day!
First things first, skincare! Invest on your skin to have that extra glow.
Start by having regular facials months ahead of your wedding day.
Next is by having the right products for your skin type. We made a recent blog post about this entitled “Best Skincare Products For Your Skin Type”.
Cliché as it may sound, drink plenty of water! This is true and with some time, you will see a change in your skin.
Last but absolutely not the least, start eating right. Try to avoid sugar and see some mind blowing results. Just like the old saying goes, beauty starts from within!
Make sure to attend Makeup Trials.
Your makeup trials should be around 3 - 5 weeks before your wedding day. This is to give you an idea of what you will look like on your actual wedding day and if there are any changes that you want, you will be able to tell your glam team ahead of time.
Try to aim to look like yourself. A makeup look that will enhance your natural beauty.
Make sure to wear a shirt or top with a colour similar to your wedding dress.
Also make sure to bring your wedding day hair accessories.
Don’t forget to bring your own references on your trial. These are your makeup inspiration looks for your glam team to base on.
Get your wedding day makeup expectations right.
Do set a proper time frame for your hair and makeup, make a time schedule (if you don’t have a wedding organiser). Make sure to allot around 3 hours for you hair and makeup.
Do a location scouting and have the right area where you can do the makeup on your wedding day (preferable one with a window).
Make sure to note to your glam team to make your makeup lasts the whole day.
It is inevitable to have last minute breakouts, so make sure you have them concealed.
Note to have waterproof mascara/eyeliners on your makeup. You’ll never know when those tears are coming!
Have a touch up kit with you always.
Last but not the least, be confident!
Just talking about your wedding day might stress you out with all the preparations but you have to keep in mind that this day is a celebration of your love! So be happy and be confident! You got this!
