A Week With Us- The Very Big Catwalk Show - Liverpool 4th July 2015 Record Breakers!!

Senior Make-Up Artists Ruth and Victoria set up for the morning...

On the 4th of July our Senior Make Up Artist Ruth Marcella and Orchid Blush worked as makeup artists for The Very Big Catwalk which took place at the Pier Head, Liverpool.The stage was set for the Guiness Worlsd Record attempt for most models down a catwalk ( which infact was broken and set as new record of 3651) Ruth was the organising Makeup Artist for the Liverpool Culture Company and worked with the renowned Catwalk Producer Jane Galpin ( producer of Clothes Show, How to look good Naked,) and hair extraordinaire Callum Warrington at the huge event.

'It was great backstage and we worked with around 100 make-up artists including students from Riverside College and other great colleges in the North West. We worked with designers, celebrities and also theatrical and dance groups. It was fast but the atmosphere was great and all the models were done in time. We also had time for a quick touch up of our own make-up before the make-up team walked down the catwalk . It was great to be part of this event and have such a fab event held in Liverpool....'
